Get to Know Our Dental Practice

Dr. Kal Dhaliwal graduated from Boston University’s School of Dental Medicine in 2015 and has been practicing dentistry ever since. In 2021, he and his wife Meagan moved to Kelowna, where he continues to provide compassionate and comprehensive dental care.

Dr. Kal prides himself on helping patients feel comfortable and confident—whether he’s getting someone out of pain or helping them love their smile. His friendly and approachable nature puts both kids and anxious patients at ease. He brings fun and positivity to the Alpha Dental team and takes the time to build strong relationships with his patients. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and looks forward to welcoming both new and returning patients to the clinic.

Outside of the office, Dr. Kal enjoys staying active through basketball, soccer, and hitting the gym. He and Meagan have also taken up skiing—if you see him on the hill, don’t laugh! Above all, he loves spending time with his daughter Reya, his wife Meagan, and their two dogs, Hugo and Oscar.

Meagan was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, and graduated from the University of Alberta in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. In 2021, she Dr. Kal Dhaliwal, moved to Kelowna—a place that already felt like a second home after spending many summers camping in West Kelowna while growing up.

Meagan manages Alpha Dental Centre and also works in the clinic as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She brings warmth, experience, and a patient-centered approach to every visit.

Outside of the office, Meagan enjoys running, hiking with Kal and their two dogs—Hugo and Oscar—and skiing in the winter. Her favorite moments, though, are the ones spent with Kal and their daughter Reya, enjoying all that life in the Okanagan has to offer.

Meet Hugo and Oscar, the adorable dental ambassadors! These lovable canines are on a mission to spread smiles and promote good oral hygiene. When not on the clock, they enjoy going for walks, playing with toys, indulging in treats, and going for refreshing swims in the lake. Follow their journey as they bring joy and promote dental health wherever they go.

Carina grew up in Red Deer, AB but has lived in Kelowna for the past 18 yrs. Her first summer job was in a dental office when she was 14. Learning to love the dental field she went on to graduate in 1993 from Loma Linda University in California with her Bachelors of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Her warm, calm and gentle manner make her a favorite with patients. She enjoys spending time with her husband and four kids, their hobby farm and the out doors.

Kailyn grew up in Kelowna, but now calls West Kelowna home. She graduated from the Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene in 2018 and has been dedicated to providing gentle, thorough care to her patients ever since. She loves helping people feel comfortable and confident in their smiles.

Recently married, Kailyn enjoys an active lifestyle outside of work. You’ll often find her hiking local trails, paddleboarding, or taking her dog, Mocha, for long walks.

Lydia was born and raised in the Lower Mainland. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at the Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene in Vancouver. She recently moved to Kelowna with her husband this summer. They have two cats and a little Yorkie puppy at home. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors, by going to the lake in the summer and hitting the ski slopes in the winter.

Danika is originally from the small town of Tulamean, BC and moved Kelowna in 2020. Danika graduated as a Certified Dental Assistant from Vancouver Community College and loves being a part of the Alpha Dental team!! She will welcome you with her warm smile and gently guide you through your appointment.

She enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing at Apex, snowmobiling, and various water sports!

Brylee grew up in Peachland, BC, where she still calls home. She is currently completing the Work-Integrated Learning CDA program at Okanagan College.

Brylee first joined Alpha Dental Centre for her hands-on training, but it quickly became clear that she was a perfect fit—so she’s here to stay! She will complete her schooling in the fall.

Outside of work, Brylee loves spending time with family and friends, relaxing at the beach, and exploring local wineries. 

Tiffany has lived in the Okanagan her whole life and set roots in Kelowna in 1997. Tiffany graduated the CDA program in 2004. In 2017 she transitioned to the front desk to help assist with all your booking and billing needs. Her knowledge and warm personality will make your experience at Alpha Dental very welcoming and enjoyable. In her spare time she likes to go skiing, camping, visit wineries and spend time with her family and 2 dogs. 

Chelsey was born and raised in Kelowna, where her entire family still lives—making the Okanagan truly feel like home. She graduated from the Dental Office Administrative Assistant program in April 2025 and brings a strong background in early childhood education to her role, where she first discovered her passion for working closely with people.

Her warm, bubbly personality and genuine love for connecting with others make her a natural fit in the dental field. Chelsey takes pride in making patients feel welcome and valued from the moment they walk through the door.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, camping, reading, and spending quality time with her family.
